Client: Facebook; Agency: WK; Production Company: Park Pictures; Director: The Mercadantes

One of the most interesting freelance projects I worked on was a commercial for Facebook, produced by Park Pictures, created by Wieden+Kennedy, and directed by the incredible Daniel and Katina Mercadante. They asked me to jump on a month early and help with casting the two main dads for the spot, a Yankees fan and a Mets fan. I dropped off flyers in coffee shops, left posts on craigslist, and then I started driving from firehouse to firehouse all over NYC, and the counties of North Jersey. I talked with almost a hundred firefighters, took photos, filmed interviews and we eventually found our Yankees dad in North Jersey. I found our Mets dad in Clinton Hill Brooklyn with a direct message to a local 52 prop. The process of casting took about a month, and I then went on to take 35mm behind the scenes photos of the week-long production shoot.
